Who are Duha?

We started Duha Clothing with the aim of creating a community that brings people closer together. From the Gallabiyah in Egypt or Sudan, to the Gulf Gandoura, and the Shalwar Kameez of South Asia - wearing the thobe (or abaya) signifies a connection we share and unites us through our common faith.

Growing up here in the west can make us feel disconnected from our Muslim roots and Duha Clothing aims to help the younger generation rebuild and strengthen that connection through our garments.

Our name, Duha, comes from the ninety-third chapter in the Quran, Surat Al-Duha - ‘The morning’. Just like the sun rising each morning, breathing light and life into each day, we strive to bring a fresh perspective into each of our collections, embracing contemporary values that embody the spirit of a new dawn.

We believe in being proud of our Deen and whether that’s a new Jummah fit or Eid Abaya - what better way to express it than through our high-quality, curated pieces?
